Cooperative State University & Freudenberg IT

We are an internationally active IT service provider and are presently looking for motivated and dedicated trainees who want to embark on a career in an innovative and fast-paced environment. In collaboration with the Cooperative State University in Mannheim, we offer students of ‘International Business Information Technology’ (IBIT) to learn about the practical and theoretical side of this field at the same time. During the practical stages at FIT, you will be working as a member of various teams with experienced experts, and during the theoretical stages, you will be studying at the Cooperative State University Mannheim in small groups, looked after by competent lecturers. It is important to us that you have a basic interest in IT and SAP environments. During your traineeship you will become an expert in these areas and finally receive your Bachelor of Science degree.

Curriculum:

• You will begin your dual education in ‘International Business Information Technology’ (IBIT) at Freudenberg IT in collaboration with the Cooperative State University Mannheim on 1 October
• You can get to know Freudenberg IT and your fellow students during a four-week preparation period, beginning 1 September. This consists of workshops and a teambuilding event lasting several days
• During your training at Freudenberg and your studies at Cooperative State University Mannheim, you will acquire the necessary specialist knowledge and soft skills in a series of alternating theory and practical stages
• You will spend your practical stages in various Freudenberg IT affiliated companies and business areas to gain wide-ranging knowledge which can be applied to national and international projects
• In addition, you will have the chance to spend time abroad working on projects and local assignments on-location and learning about the country and people

Profile:

• You received good grades in high school and are qualified to enter the German higher education system
• You are interested in business procedures and exciting assignments in the area of information technology
• You are flexible and mobile and enjoy tasks with an international scope
• Teamwork is important to you. You show initiative and are able to pursue tasks independently
• Good knowledge of English is important due to our international orientation
